Off North Kimball Avenue, right at the I-84 interchange, the Caldwell Elks Lodge #1448 has been the kind of place where strangers become regulars after a single visit. That easy highway access is no accident. This lodge was built for the community, and the community has shown up, giving it a 4.4-star rating across 143 reviews.

Step inside and you get a full-service restaurant running from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, a well-stocked bar, and a banquet hall big enough to host the kind of nights people talk about for years. One guest put it plainly: "We ate, drank, and danced the night away to real down-home Cowboy Country music." That is exactly the kind of evening this place was designed for.

The Elks Lodge tradition runs deep in American civic life, and Lodge #1448 carries that forward with friendly staff, a spacious parking lot, and an atmosphere that feels equally right for a quiet Tuesday lunch or a full-on Saturday celebration. Membership starts at $100, opening the door to everything this lodge has to offer.

What We Offer

Lodge #1448 runs a full-service restaurant seven days a week, dishing out hearty meals from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Pair that with a full bar and you have a reliable spot for lunch with coworkers or dinner before a big event. The kitchen keeps things straightforward and satisfying, the kind of food that fits the room.

The banquet hall is where the lodge truly shines as an event destination. Family reunions, wedding receptions, retirement parties, and community fundraisers all find a natural home here. The hall accommodates large groups comfortably, and the staff handles setup with the ease of people who have done this hundreds of times.

Live entertainment rounds out the calendar, with country and western music nights drawing crowds that come ready to dance. RV travelers passing through on I-84 also stop here for hookups, making Lodge #1448 one of the more versatile stops in the Caldwell, Idaho area.

"Nice facility for family gatherings. Big parking lot, off i84 so easy access to building and friendly staff. The restaurant is open 11am to 8pm and they have a full bar. Elk membership cost $100.00 a year and they provide discounts for renting the meeting rooms (they have 1 large room (300 people) and 2 smaller meeting rooms). The bar is open to members only but the public is welcome to visit the restaurant."

"Elks staff is very friendly, easy on/off the Highway 84. Very convenient location with 8 spaces. But, The spots are very close together, especially if you have slide outs. And, They have only 30 amps…. No 50amps. Water is on every other spot. We did have lunch when we arrived. We ordered the Prime rib sandwich & grilled chicken breast sandwich…both were very tasty."

"We got there when it opened at 3:00 p.m. it was nice and quiet. The service was excellent. My friend got a burger and tots. She said it was really good. I got a side salad made with greens (not iceberg), different vegetables, cheese and croutons. I also got cheese curds and onion rings. All my food was very tasty and perfectly fried. 😋"
